Job Description
- Managing and co-ordinating the growth of asset management sales across multiple asset classes across all GCC geographies. This means growing the assets under management both for funds, and discretionary portfolio management services
- Create, prepare and deliver pitches to prospective clients, showcasing a unique value proposition for each opportunity
- Self-start by researching target markets and uncovering potential client lists for contact, follow-up and sales closure
- Work closely with the Wholesale Banking relationship management team and GIB Capital team to promote GIB AM’s asset management capabilities to targeted institutional investors in the region
- Support the team in the development of relationships, leads and opportunities across other jurisdictions
- Collaborate with the Business Development team in the creation of the regional and global strategic sales plan. Ensure account plan is developed and implemented. Maintain sales performance metrics and targets
- Maintain sales records across the region. Ensure that the sales process is up to date and fully implemented within the organization
- Work closely with the CRM team in London responsible for the ongoing maintenance of client relationships
- Work with marketing and communications in developing and implementing the marketing plan relating to product positioning and branding through the relevant channels and thought leadership
Skills
- Skilled in cross-border team collaboration
- Good knowledge of GCC investment distribution regulations
- Demonstrate the ability to engage with senior level executives in strategic conversation relating to the GIB AM’s various business offerings and solutions
