Job Description
- Assist in the definition of project scope, objectives, and roles & responsibilities.
- Develop, implement, monitor, evaluate project plans, and report on project progress in a consistent, accurate, and timely manner.
- Identify, document, and manage risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
- Prepare a project budget based on scope of work, resourcing requirements, and track spending to ensure the project is sufficiently funded and delivered within the approved budget.
- Identify the required resources and capabilities to carry through project activities and deliver on its intended benefits and determine whether the Bank must look externally for the required skills.
- Identify and manage across a diverse group of stakeholders who will be impacted by the project - this may include internal stakeholders such as Compliance, Information Security, IT, Operations, and other functional areas as well as external stakeholders.
- Lead mixed capability teams including business analysts, process engineers and Subject Matter Experts to ensure a joint approach and coordinated delivery. These teams may include external consultants.
- Complete project closure activities, obtain stakeholder sign-off and approval on all final deliverables in coordination with all relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure all activities follow the GIB Project Management Framework and that all documentation is complete and stored in the appropriate location.
- Ensure lessons learned are documented and shared with the relevant stakeholders and the TMO team.
- Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and budget
Skills
- University degree in Business Administration or related majors .
- PMI-PMP or similar
- 3 to 5 years of experience in strategic roles in financial services and / or management consultancy firms
- Experience in leading high performing teams
- Experience across Business and IT delivery
- Experience in operating at senior executive level, influencing CXOs and business leads.
- Experience in liaising with regulatory bodies
- Familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
