Job Purpose
Responsible for assisting the Business Analysis team in translating business and system needs into requirements for designers, developers, and testers to consume and uses requirements elicitation, analysis, and specification verification techniques for this purpose.
Key Accountabilities
- Provide assistance to Business Analysis team analytical support to Project Vision business lines and project managers on a wide range of project related activities, including:
- Gathering, validating, documenting, and prioritizing business requirements
- Business process mapping
- Designing business solutions
- Creation of data dictionaries and mapping documents
- Acting as the interface between the business and IT to ensure requirements and solutions are captured and clarified to achieve optimal output
- Design and coordination of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and interface with IT throughout the test cycles
- Assist Business Analysis team in Identifying issues, risks and benefits of existing and proposed solutions and analysing business impact.
- Assist in the preparation and documentation of solution designs, business architectures, and other project related documentation
- Data analysis to identify trends, issues, opportunities, and solutions to business problems/opportunities
- Liaise between the Project Vision Businesses and IT to define solutions to business problems optimizing the existing technology capabilities
- Assist in the creation of financial forecasts and models to support budgeting, planning, and forecasting of project spend against budget
- Participate as needed in IT design reviews to ensure compatibility and interoperability of systems
- Assist in the development of a knowledge of system capabilities and functions of assigned application software. Use this knowledge to recommend optimal solutions to business requirements that best leverages the product
Skills
Qualifications
§ Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or related streams
Professional Certifications
§ Professional qualifications such as CBAP, PMI-BA will be an advantage
Experience
§ Up to 2 years’ experience in Management Consulting or Banking, with Business Analyst, Business Intelligence, Portfolio and/or Project Management experience
§ Some experience with design and implementation of technical environments using various technologies and languages would be advantageous
§ Knowledge of importing data for use in report software, spreadsheets, graphs, and flow charts
§ Some experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

§ Strong PC skills (Microsoft Office including MS Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint)
§ Good command of spoken, written, and reading skills in English
§ Good organization and logical skills along with presentation skills
§ Good numerical ability and quantitative skills
§ Good analytical and deductive capability
