BI Reporting Lead

 Job Purpose 

To manage the enterprise Reporting & Visualization function for the bank in order to act as the face of the reporting function, and will work with various stakeholders of the organization to understand and deliver on business reporting, Dashboards, information analysis and insights needs

Key Accountabilities

• Lead team working on extract, transform, and load activities as well as leading organizational/departmental initiatives and key programs

• Participate on transforming and modernizing data unit

• Facilitate and participate in AI/ML initiatives across the organization

• Enable advanced analytics by setting up required base

• Ensure delivery of critical, business, strategic, and regulatory projects on time with high quality

• Develop required processes and procedures pertaining to data and reporting

• Ensure compliance with regulator mandates and adherence to National Data Management framework and any other frameworks such as CFF, ITGF, etc

• Validate and ensure accuracy of data mapping and reporting

• Leverage emerging technologies to advance and accelerate development activities

• Collaborate with other units internally/externally to pro-actively identify and spot areas of improvement and setup plans subsequently

 Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications

A bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, computer science, data science, information science or related field, or equivalent work experience

Experience

6+ Years in banking and technology

Skills:

·         BS or master’s in management information system, Computer Science or Information Technology (or equivalent work experience to substitute for education)

·         Understanding of the bank’s strategy, objectives, products and services

·         Understanding of analytical applications development and usage to support business decision making

·         Knowledge of the operations, products and services of banks and financial institutions

·         In depth understanding of Enterprise Business Intelligence and Reporting principles and key components

·         Experience in the BI end-to-end cycle from requirements engineering to operationalization including data query, reports, dashboards, various data visualization methods.

·         Experience and technical background in Business Intelligence Technology and tools (like but not limited to: Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, SAP BusinessObject, QlikView, Oracle BIEE, etc…).

·         Experience and technical background in Relational Databases, Data Warehouses and Data Manipulation Language DML (SQL) and various modelling techniques, especially dimensional modelling.

·         Experience/ background in any of the following:

o   BI dashboard

o   BI Mobile App.

o   BI GEO Special reporting.

o   BI Self-Service

o   Graphics Designing

o   Programing (Like: JAVA, C,C++, R, MAPREDUCE,,,)

·         Investigation skills to be able to identify reports and data problems.

·         Strong Communication, Interpersonal, teamwork.
