Job Description

 Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with 6–8 years of overall experience, including hands-on exposure to retail banking in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), to join our technology delivery team. The ideal candidate bridges the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams — translating business needs into clear technical requirements and, equally, articulating system and integration constraints back to the business in plain language. This role requires strong documentation discipline, sharp communication skills, and a solid techno-functional understanding of how banking systems (core banking, CRM, channels, payments) integrate with one another.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from retail banking stakeholders (product, operations, compliance, channels) through workshops, interviews, and process walkthroughs.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional and technical requirement documents (BRD, FRD, FSD) that development and integration teams can build against.
  • Translate technical constraints, system limitations, and integration realities back into business language to support informed decision-making.
  • Map and document end-to-end process flows and system interaction diagrams across core banking, CRM, digital/mobile channels, and third-party integrations.
  • Work closely with architects and developers to understand API contracts, data flows, and integration touchpoints between systems (core banking, CRM, middleware, payment gateways, channels).
  • Prepare and maintain use cases, user stories, acceptance criteria, wireframes/mock-ups, and traceability matrices.
  • Support UAT planning and execution — writing test scenarios, coordinating sign-offs, and validating that delivered solutions meet the original business requirement.
  • Liaise between multiple stakeholders (business, vendors, technical teams) to manage requirement clarifications, scope changes, and issue resolution throughout the delivery lifecycle.
  • Produce clear, well-structured documentation and status reporting for steering committees and governance forums.
  • Ensure requirements and processes align with KSA regulatory and compliance expectations relevant to retail banking (e.g., SAMA guidelines) where applicable.

Skills Description

Required Experience & Domain Knowledge

  • 4–8 years of overall Business Analysis experience, with demonstrable experience in retail banking (products, channels, operations, or lending).
  • Prior experience working within or with banks/fintechs operating in KSA, with an understanding of the local market and regulatory landscape.
  • Exposure to core banking, CRM, mobile/internet banking, or payment systems in a BA or techno-functional capacity.
  • Experience working in multi-vendor delivery environments, coordinating between business owners, in-house teams, and external system integrators.
  • Hands-on experience with asset/lending applications — credit cards, personal finance, and home finance (mortgage) products — including origination, underwriting, servicing, or collections workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Business Analysis certification (e.g., CBAP, ECBA, or PMI-PBA) is a plus.
