Job Description

 

1.     Ensure documentation quality review directly relates to the Bank's policy being accurately                                                                                                                                                                           documented to mitigate bank risk and potential loss.

2.     Ensure the effective achievement of credit documentation and collateral control Department’s objectives through the heading of the Unit – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and divisional performance.

3.     Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per Bank’s policy and procedures with respect facility documentation, terms and conditions, covenants, financial information and financial condition, and ensure its on Banks standard template (i.e. its approved by Legal) 

4.     Ensure approval from relevant/supported document(s) is/are incorporated in the documents and ensure the fulfillment in due course. 

5.     Continuous development of the work process through highlighting gaps, breaches and negative feedback. 

6.     Manage the maintenance and revision for the functional procedures of the department. 

7.     Managing, supporting and supervising Unit’s staff’ day-to-day activities. 

8.     Manage and ensure the Risk control directives pertaining to the unit and the core credit policy are fully applied and issues not covered by policy are escalated to direct manager

 

Skills

Qualifications : BSc degree in Banking and Finance from a top-tier university

Experience : At least 9-11 years in Credit Admin and Control position with emphasis on Credit Documentation and Collateral Management.

 

Skills:

§  Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language is also preferable. 

§  Result driven, hands on, dynamic with ability to work under sales oriented environment

§  Should have strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and should be a good negotiator

§  Makes good decisions using analysis, experience and judgment.

§  Can attend to several priorities at a time.

§  Works well in cooperation with others for the benefit of the Bank.

§  Remain open to learning and coaching.
