Job Description

 

 

  • Ensure documentation quality review directly relates to the Bank's policy being accurately documented to mitigate bank risk and potential loss.

 

 

  • Ensure the effective achievement of credit documentation and collateral control Department’s objectives through the heading of the Unit – setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing and motivating staff, provision of formal and informal feedback and appraisal – in order to maximize subordinate and divisional performance.

 

 

  • Ensure all lending Documentation is complete as per Bank’s policy and procedures with respect facility documentation, terms and conditions, covenants, financial information and financial condition.

 

 

  • Ensure approval from relevant/supported document(s) is/are incorporated in the documents and ensure the fulfillment in due course.

 

 

  • Continuous development of the work process through highlighting gaps, breaches and negative feedback.

 

 

  • Manage the maintenance and revision for the functional procedures of the department.

 

 

  • Managing, supporting and supervising Unit’s staff day-to-day activities.

 

 

  • Manage and ensure the Risk control directives pertaining to the unit and the core credit policy are fully applied and issues not covered by policy are escalated to direct manager

 

 

  • Manage and ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of data in terms of sorting, mapping and integrity across the entire his section.

 

 

  • Ensure timely generation and broadcasting of several reports to the different business departments and to the senior management.

 

 

  • Monitor all irregularities, received documents from legal, and report to senior management.

 

 

  • Manage and distribute the work load over the available resources in priority manner.

 

 

  • Manage and answer to all related business requests in timely manner and ensure adequate turnaround time is fully established with in the unit.

 

 

  • Ensure the proper follow ups and escalation process are being adhered to by self and concerned staff

 

 

  • Improve turnaround time and compliance with set process in the Documentation Preparing Unit.

 

 

  • Help and heavily participate in the design of quality self-assessment tests for the unit.

 

 

  • Act as Bank representative in collateral Registration Process in the related official government authorities.

 

 

  • Act as liaison for internal and external auditors to conduct documentation and collateral review.

 

 

  • Liaise, inform and follow up with internal/ external legal counsel for any legal matter.

 

 

  • Responsible for the performance, completion and documentation of the periodic tests

 

 

  • Conducting periodic staff meeting to review individual performance.

 

 

  • Responsible for completion of midyear/ year end staff appraisal.

 

 

  • Ensure the projects assigned to department are fully addressed, Managed and Achieved in the set timelines.

 

 

  • Prepare an operational Risk incidence memo in case of any breach to the Bank’s policy and department’s procedure.

 

 

Attend all required meetings with the head of department and stakeholders.
